Course Description

This section introduces the theme, main content, and structure of the course. This course will focus on the four main areas of environmental governance: (1) social, economic,and political causes of global environmental problems, (2) methods and strategies for promoting policy solutions, (3) economic rationale for international environmental cooperation, and (4) mobilizing private sectors towards sustainability. Students will read theoretical and empirical literature and actively participate in classroom discussions.
