This course is highly interactive with a range of innovative exercises, including:
1) a Conflict Management Lab on the South China Sea Disputes, featuring negotiation simulations and AI-assisted analysis of maritime demarcation and resource sharing, enhanced by the professor's diplomacy dialogue practice; a Foreign Policy Lab examining the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on international relations, based on the professor’s latest publication.
2) a Case Study on the Belt and Road Initiative for in-depth insights into China’s global strategies. The course will examine China's relationships with various nations and regions, from Africa to Europe and Latin America. It will also discuss the paradigm shifts in US-China relations and the East Asia security mechanism.
