Course Description

This is a compulsory political and ideological education course for the post-graduates with P.R.C Nationality, and also an elective one for the international students. In the course, students will learn about a framework of guiding theory and ideology of the Communist Party of China since 1978. The lectures will be focused on the analysis of the interaction between the development of the guiding theory of CPC and the practice of the Reform and Opening-up, especially on some major historical events, such as the decision of reform in 1978, the failure of the switching from the dual-pricing system to market system in 1988, Deng Xiaoping’s speech in his South China Touring in 1992,and some of the key decisions after the 18th National Congress of CPC.

本课程是面向娱乐场 中国同学开设的硕士研究生思想政治理论必修课，同时也是一门面向国际学生的选修课。本课程致力于将对中国特色社会主义和中国道路的思考与更宽广的历史背景和比较视野紧密结合，鼓励同学们从当下国内和国外现实问题入手，对中国特色社会主义理论与实践中的一些基本问题和重大问题进行思考和辩论。
